The sweeping foothill views, paired with the client’s extensive art collection informed the main design features of the You Bet House. The rear doors facing the southern views pocket entirely into the adjacent walls, creating a 25 foot opening blurring the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. The primary circulation spine along the front of the house doubles as an art gallery corridor. The series of windows along this spine welcome visitors with views of the art exhibited within. An open floor plan at the heart of the home mixes the kitchen, dining and living rooms into one spacious gathering areas, ideal for large parties.
